The Joseph Maluleke Foundation preserves heritage and creates opportunity. Its identity had to feel like an institution worth trusting for generations, not a campaign.
At the centre sits a circular seal: a serif JM monogram ringed by irregular bead shapes drawn from traditional African beadwork. The ring reads as craft and community; the monogram reads as legacy. Around it, a spaced serif wordmark and the foundation's promise: Preserving Heritage. Creating Opportunity.
The palette stays disciplined: antique gold on cream, ivory and near-black. Applied across signage, stamps, totes and keepsakes, the system feels closer to a heritage house than a typical nonprofit, which is exactly the point.
“Preserving heritage. Creating opportunity.”
